This working group focuses on the resilience of Europe’s information space. Fellows explore challenges related to disinformation, media freedom, journalism, strategic communication and public trust, while examining how cross-border cooperation and informed public debate can contribute to democratic resilience across the Weimar Triangle.

Civil Society & Democracy - Germany

Jeannette Gusko is an entrepreneur and C-level leader, advisory board member, and author. She builds robust, transformative enterprises with high effectiveness and scales values. She currently serves as Digital Participation Officer at SPRIND, the Federal Agency for Breakthrough Innovation. “Deutschland, was geht?” (Germany, what'sup?) is the first initiative to come out of this.

Quentin Ariès

Media & Journalism - France

Quentin Ariès is the deputy Editor-in-Chief of Contexte, a media dedicated to European and French public policies. Based in Brussels since 2014, he was also at Politico Europe, The Washington Post, freelanced for French and English-speaking media and was the Editor-in-Chief of Sphera, a network of ten socially-engaged European independent media. He is a lecturer in European journalism for various journalism schools.

Clarisse Thomas is a corporate communication and press relations manager at the European Financial Group ODDO BHF. She covers financial issues across Europe, with a focus on Franco-German relationship as well as international geopolitical developments.

Dr. Anna Wójcik

Academia & Rule of Law - Poland

Anna Wójcik specializes in European law and comparative constitutional law. She is a principal investigator in the Constitutional Law Department at Kozminski University in Warsaw. She also works as a journalist, focusing on democracy and the rule of law in the European Union.
